César Vidal Manzanares
César Vidal Manzanares (Madrid, May 9, 1958), is an American-born Spanish Spanish radio host, lawyer and author of numerous popular works, essays and novels. Biography César Vidal was born in Madrid on May 9, 1958 in the Puente de Vallecas neighborhood and studied high school at the Escuelas Pías de San Antón. He is the brother of jurist and writer Gustavo Vidal Manzanares. He has a PhD in Law from Alfonso X El Sabio University, in Theology and Philosophy by Logos University, where he is a member of the Board of Regents. He is also a member of the Executive Council of the Inter-American Institute for Democracy. He is also member of the Academia Norteamericana de la Lengua Española (North American Academy of the Spanish Language) since 2015. Revisionism ( es, Revisionismo) is a term which emerged in the late 1990s and is applied to a group of pro-Francoist historiographic theories related to the recent history of Spain. History Until the late 1990s in Spain the term ''revisionismo histórico'' was applied to various historiographic debates abroad, often though not always related to Nazism. It was seldom used against the local background and its denotation could have varied, e.g. in 1988 the expression was employed to stand for scientific historiography. According to scholars who later confronted revisionism, this general setting changed in the mid-1990s; the new government of José María Aznar launched a bid to revise the dominant historiographic view of the recent past. ''Libertad Digital'' (literally, ''Digital Freedom'') is an advocacy journalism online newspaper edited in Madrid, Spain. It does not follow a particular party line, but it claims to be classic liberal, It is published in Spanish. Origins ''Libertad Digital'' was founded by Federico Jiménez Losantos who continues to be associated with the publication. Its first edition was released on 8 March 2000. It was also promoted by the economist Alberto Recarte, who was the first president of the Libertad Digital society, and Javier Rubio, who was its first editor. In 2004 the media firm decided to seek a capital expansion. Some of the shares were acquired by people connected to the Popular Party such as the party's then treasurer Álvaro Lapuerta. Evolution is change in the heritable characteristics of biological populations over successive generations.
