César Omar Monasterio (born 28 November 1963) is an Argentine professional golfer. Biography Monasterio was born on 28 November 1963, in San Miguel de Tucumán, Tucumán. He turned professional in 1990. Since 2003, Monasterio has played extensively in Europe on the European Tour and its development tour, the Challenge Tour. He won the 2005 Guatemala Open, Abierto Telefonica Moviles de Guatemala on the Challenge Tour, and in 2006 captured his first European Tour title at the Saint-Omer Open, Aa St Omer Open, which was an official money event on both tours. San Miguel de Tucumán (), usually called simply Tucumán, is the capital and largest city of Tucumán Province, located in northern Argentina from Buenos Aires. Henrik Nyström
Henrik Nyström (born 23 April 1969) is a Sweden, Swedish professional golfer. Career Nyström played college golf for Lynn University in the United States. He won the 1994 individual NAIA Men's Golf Championship. Nyström turned professional in 1994. He spent his early career on the Challenge Tour, before reaching the top-level European Tour for the first time via qualifying school in 1997. He remained on the tour until 2003, despite having to return to qualifying school for his first two seasons. However after a poor 2003 season Nyström returned to the Challenge Tour, where a consistent season including eight top-ten finishes would propel him to ninth place in the season-end rankings and a European Tour return. He maintained his card via qualifying school in 2005 and 2006, automatically in 2007 and again via qualifying school - for a sixth time - in 2008. Andrés Fabián Romero (born 8 May 1981) is an Argentine professional golfer who plays on both the PGA Tour and European Tour. Career Romero was born in Tucumán. He won his European Tour card by finishing 14th on the Challenge Tour rankings in 2005. His rookie season included a tied for second finish at the Scottish Open and a tied for eighth finish in The Open Championship. Romero finished placed 35th on the Order of Merit. In the 2007 Open Championship, Romero placed third, behind Sergio García and Pádraig Harrington, making ten birdies on the last day of play. He briefly led the field by two strokes, but made a double bogey on the 17th hole and a bogey on the 18th to miss a play-off by one shot. Sebastián Fernández (born 8 September 1973) is an Argentina, Argentine professional golfer. Fernández was born in Buenos Aires. He worked as a caddie in Buenos Aires, before turning professional in 1991. He won the Argentine Tour Order of Merit in 2000. He won three Argentine PGA Championships, in 1991, 2001 and 2005, the first as an 18-year-old, and also came second in 2003. Fernández competed on the Challenge Tour from 2003 to 2007, winning one tournament, the Costa Rica Open in 2003, and finishing second in the Skandia PGA Open (Sweden) in 2003, the Costa Rica Open in 2005 and the Challenge of Ireland in 2006. The Costa Rica Open is a men's professional golf tournament that was played annually in Costa Rica until 2007. It was an event on the Tour de las Americas from 2002 until its replacement by the Costa Rica Golf Classic in 2008, and was also co-sanctioned by the European Challenge Tour from 2003. The tournament was held at the Cariari Country Club near San José every year except in 2004 when it was played over the Valle del Sol Golf Course near Santa Ana. The 2006 event was renamed in order to pay tribute to the tournaments founder and promoter, Kai Fieberg, who had been killed in a car accident earlier in the year. In 1979 and 1980, Cariari hosted the PGA sponsored Friendship Cup, which is sometimes also referred to as the Costa Rica Open. These tournaments were won by Raymond Floyd and Larry Ziegler.
