César Cortés
César Alexis Cortés Pinto (born 9 January 1984) is a Chilean former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. International career Cortés made four appearances for the Chile national team between 2012 and 2013. Coaching career Cortés graduated as a Football Manager at (National Football Institute) in August 2022, while playing for Magallanes, alongside his fellows Albert Acevedo and Iván Vásquez. Settled in Ibiza, Cortés has coached youth teams of CDI Ibiza. Personal life Following his retirement, Cortés settled in Ibiza, Spain, the hometown of his wife. Iván Gonzalo Vásquez Quilodrán (born 13 August 1985) is a Chilean football coach and former player who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Lautaro, Cautín Province, Vásquez joined Club Deportivo Universidad Católica's youth system in 2000 at the age of 15. He made his Chilean Primera División debuts three years later, and was part of the squads that won the 2005 Clausura and finished in second position at the 2007 Apertura; in 2006, he was loaned to fellow league club Cobreloa. In 2009, Vásquez joined O'Higgins FC. He scored his first competitive goal for his new team on 21 November 2010, playing the full 90 minutes in a 1–1 away draw against Unión Española. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana, also known as Copa Sudamericana (; ), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL, the governing body of football in South America, since 2002.
