Cynthya Karam
Cynthya Karam (; born 11 July 1980) is a Lebanese actress, singer, and television presenter known for her work in theater, television, and music. A graduate in theater from the Lebanese University, she first gained recognition as a contestant on the inaugural season of the pan-Arab talent show ''Star Academy'' in 2003. Her career spans stage productions such as Georges Khabbaz's productions and television roles including Adla in ''Bil-Damm'' (2025), which earned critical acclaim. Beyond acting, Karam is involved in humanitarian initiatives, including volunteer work in children's hospitals. Early life and education Karam was born in Beit ed-Dine on 11 July 1980. Beit Ed-Dine
Beit ed-Dine (), also known as Btaddine () is a small town and the administrative capital of the Chouf District in the Mount Lebanon Governorate in Lebanon. The town is located 45 kilometers southeast of Beirut, and near the town of Deir el-Qamar from which it is separated by a steep valley. It had 1,613 registered voters in 2010 and its inhabitants are predominantly Christians from the Maronite, Melkite and Greek Orthodox denominations. Beit ed-Dine's total land area consists of 244 hectares and its average elevation is 860 meters above sea level. Clown Care, also known as hospital clowning, is a program in health care facilities involving visits from specially trained clowns. They are colloquially called "clown doctors" which is a trademarked name in several countries. These visits to hospitals have been shown to help in lifting patients' Mood (psychology), moods with the positive power of hope and humor.
