Forecast Region
A forecast region is a unique geographical area for which individual weather reports are issued. Canada In Canada, the Meteorological Service divides the country into several forecast regions for the purpose of issuing routine text forecasts and weather warnings, as Canada's provinces and territories do not use a common second-level administrative division scheme similar to the division of states into counties and parishes in the United States. Due to the localized nature of some weather phenomena, such as freezing rain storms and tornadoes, some forecast regions that have been found to be more prone to such phenomena are further divided into sub-regions, especially in the Prairie provinces. Parts of Northern British Columbia, Northern Quebec, Labrador, and the territories do not belong to any forecast region, owing to the lack of any significant population in those areas. With the implementation of Specific Area Message Encoding into the Weatheradio Canada service in 2007, ea ...

Cwa People
The Twa, often referred to as Batwa or Mutwa (singular), are indigenous hunter-gatherer peoples of the Great Lakes Region in Central Africa, recognized as some of the earliest inhabitants of the area. Historically and academically, the term “Pygmy” has been used to describe these groups, however, it is considered derogatory, particularly by the Twa themselves. While some Batwa activists accept the term as an acknowledgement of their indigenous status, most prefer specific ethnic labels such as Bambuti (for the Ituri Forest region in the Democratic Republic of the Congo), Baaka (Lobaye Forest, Central African Republic), and Bambendjelle (Ndoki Forest, Congo-Brazzaville and Central African Republic). Relation to the Bantu populations All Twa populations live near or in agricultural villages. Agricultural Bantu peoples have settled a number of ecotones next to an area that has game but will not support agriculture, such as the edges of the rainforest, open swamp, and desert. ...

It specifies the requirements for a geographic area in Canada to be designated a National Wildlife Area by the Canadian Wildlife Service division of Environment Canada. Description "The purpose of wildlife areas is to preserve habitats that are critical to migratory birds and other wildlife species, particularly those that are at risk." Further, the Wildlife Area Regulations, a component of the Canada Wildlife Act, identifies activities which are prohibited on such areas because they may harm a protected species or its habitat. In some circumstances, land use permits may be granted to individuals, organizations, or companies if the intended use is compatible with conservation of the area. Personal activities such as "hiking, canoeing, photography and bird watching can be carried out without a permit in most areas". The Act received Royal Assent in 1973. Humid Subtropical Climate
A humid subtropical climate is a subtropical -temperate climate type, characterized by long and hot summers, and cool to mild winters. These climates normally lie on the southeast side of all continents (except Antarctica), generally between latitudes 25° and 40° and are located poleward from adjacent tropical climates, and equatorward from either humid continental (in North America and Asia) or oceanic climates (in other continents). It is also known as warm temperate climate in some climate classifications. Under the Köppen climate classification, ''Cfa'' and ''Cwa'' climates are either described as humid subtropical climates or warm temperate climates. This climate features mean temperature in the coldest month between (or ) and and mean temperature in the warmest month or higher. However, while some climatologists have opted to describe this climate type as a "humid subtropical climate", Köppen himself never used this term. The humid subtropical climate classific ...

Cognitive Work Analysis
Cognitive work analysis (CWA) is a conceptual framework developed to model complex sociotechnical systems with a focus on understanding work constraints rather than prescribing specific procedures. Originally developed at Risø National Laboratory in Denmark by Jens Rasmussen and colleagues in the 1980s, CWA emerged as part of the broader field of cognitive engineering. The framework systematically analyzes different types of constraints to build a comprehensive model of how work could potentially proceed within a given system. This distinguishes CWA from other task analysis approaches that either describe how work is actually conducted (descriptive modeling) or prescribe how it should be conducted (normative modeling). Instead, CWA adopts a formative approach by identifying the constraints that shape possible work practices without specifying a single correct method. CWA typically consists of five interconnected phases that progressively analyze different constraint types. Throug ...
