''Cut to the Chase'' is a compilation album by Vampire Rodents, released on November 12, 2019, by Rodentia Productions. The album compiles tracks from outside the band's main discography, namely the previously unreleased songs "Cut to the Chase", " Henry Catwallace", " Lizardman" and " Blind Acceleration", remixed tracks by Chemlab, Killing Floor and Penal Colony and the song " Cocked, Loaded & Ready" with the original opening intact. Vampire Rodents
Vampire Rodents was a sound collage and experimental music ensemble based out of Phoenix, Arizona, although its core members originally came from Canada. The creative nucleus of the project comprised vocalist and composer Daniel Vahnke and keyboardist Victor Wulf. Daniel Vahnke was primarily influenced by 20th-century classical and avant-garde music, whereas Wulf drew from new age, ambient and synth-driven pop music. Their work also dabbled in big band, bebop, musique concrète, industrial, electro, Indian classical and Greek music. Vampire Rodents debuted with '' War Music'' (1991), an album that showcased their knack for dark humor and experimentation with the pop and industrial music format. ''Clockseed'' is the fourth studio album by Vampire Rodents, released on April 7, 1995, by Re-Constriction Records. Music and lyrics ''Clockseed'' has a larger number of guest vocalists than its predecessor, with Daniel handling vocal duties on only four out of twenty-two tracks. All the vocalists involved were known through Chase, who sent out tapes to anyone who could lend their lyrics and vocals to a track. James Basore
Killing Floor were an American electro-industrial group based in San Francisco. The original incarnation consisted of keyboardists John Belew and Christian Void before guitarist Marc Phillips, percussionist James Basore and bassist Karl Tellefsen were added to the line-up. They released two albums on Re-Constriction Records: '' Killing Floor'' in 1995 and '' Divide by Zero'' in 1997. The band ceased activities shortly after the release of their 1998 EP ''Come Together''. History Killing Floor was formed in San Francisco by John Belew and Christian Void, with Void on both vocal and keyboard/sampler duties. Remixing
A remix (or reorchestration) is a piece of media which has been altered or contorted from its original state by adding, removing, or changing pieces of the item. A sampler is an electronic or digital musical instrument which uses sound recordings (or " samples") of real instrument sounds (e.g., a piano, violin, trumpet, or other synthesizer), excerpts from recorded songs (e.g., a five-second bass guitar riff from a funk song) or found sounds (e.g., sirens and ocean waves). The samples are loaded or recorded by the user or by a manufacturer. These sounds are then played back by means of the sampler program itself, a MIDI keyboard, sequencer or another triggering device (e.g., electronic drums) to perform or compose music. Society Burning is an American coldwave industrial rock band composed of Daveoramma (born Dave Mansfield, aka Dave Creadeau), Twitch, and Boom chr Paige (born Boom Fernandez). The group was founded in Las Cruces, New Mexico, in 1991 and was originally named 'The Watchmen' (a tribute to the Alan Moore graphic novel). History Daveoramma (born Dave Mansfield) began recording music in 1991 under the name "Watchmen" with one other person while at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. "Good Vibrations" is a song by the American rock music, rock band the Beach Boys that was composed by Brian Wilson with lyrics by Mike Love. The original incarnation consisted of Madden, Jason Hubbard, Andy Shaw and Chris Shinkus. The touring lineup of the band featured Paris Sadonis of Premature Ejaculation, Shadow Project, EXP and Involution, William Skye of London After Midnight, and Justin Bennett of Skinny Puppy, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Nivek Ogre, Pigface and Bahntier. Mel Hammond
Floyd Melvin ("Mel") Hammond (born December 19, 1933) was an Idaho politician and has been a general authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) since 1989. He was the nineteenth general president of the church's Young Men organization from 2001 to 2004. Hammond was born in Blackfoot, Idaho. He served as an LDS Church missionary in the Spanish–American Mission from 1954 to 1956. Hammond attended Ricks College and Brigham Young University (BYU).
