''Curb Servin is the second and final studio album by American West Coast hip-hop group WC and the Maad Circle. It was released on October 3, 1995, via PayDay/ FFRR/London Records. The recording sessions took place at Encore Recording Studios and Echo Sound Studios in Los Angeles. The album was produced by DJ Crazy Toones, Dr. Jam, Madness 4 Real, Ice Cube, and Rhythm D. In the United States, the album debuted at number 85 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and number 15 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. It spawned two singles: "West Up!" and "The One". Its lead single, "West Up!", peaked at number 88 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, number 50 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, number 16 on the Hot Rap Songs. The second and final single off of the album, "The One", made it to number 76 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and number 40 on the Hot Rap Songs. WC And The Maad Circle
WC and the Maad Circle was an American hip hop group from Los Angeles, California that consisted of WC, Big Gee, Coolio and DJ Crazy Toones. History MAAD stands for ''Minority Alliance of Anti-Discrimination''. Following the dissolution of Low Profile, the rapper WC formed the group and released the albums '' Ain't a Damn Thang Changed'' in 1991 and '' Curb Servin''' in 1995. The albums spawned some popular singles, notably "Dress Code", " West Up!" and "The One". WC would later leave the group and form the gangsta rap supergroup Westside Connection with Ice Cube and Mack 10. WC and Crazy Toones continued working together at Ice Cube's Lench Mob Records. On January 9, 2017, Crazy Toones died at age 45 of a heart attack. On September 28, 2022, Coolio was found unresponsive on a friend's bathroom floor and died of an apparent heart attack. Garry Shider
Garry Marshall Shider (July 24, 1953 – June 16, 2010) was an American musician and guitarist. He was musical director of the P-Funk All-Stars for much of their history. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997, with fifteen other members of Parliament-Funkadelic. Early life Shider was born in Plainfield, New Jersey. At the age of ten and under the guidance of his father Jesse, Garry and his brothers played and sang behind many Gospel music, gospel artists of the time including legends such as Shirley Caesar, Five Blind Boys of Mississippi, The Five Blind Boys, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, and others. George Edward Clinton (born July 22, 1941) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and bandleader. His Parliament-Funkadelic collective (which primarily recorded under the distinct band names Parliament (band), Parliament and Funkadelic) developed an influential and eclectic form of funk music during the 1970s that drew on Afrofuturism, outlandish fashion, psychedelia, and surreal humor. ''Muzik'' was a British dance music magazine published by IPC Media from June 1995 to August 2003. ''Muzik'' was created by two former ''Melody Maker'' journalists, Push and Ben Turner. Push was the editor of ''Muzik'' from its launch until he left the magazine in 1998, at which point Turner took over as editor. The title was subsequently edited by Dave Fowler, then Chris Elwell-Sutton for less than a year, before Conor McNicholas, who went on to edit ''NME'', took over. A supergroup is a musical group formed of members who are already successful as solo artists or as members of other successful groups.
