Cunit
Cunit is a coastal town on the Golden Coast (''Costa Daurada'' in Catalan) in the Baix Penedès region part of the province of Tarragona in Catalonia, Spain. It is on the northeast coast of Spain on the Mediterranean Sea. Location and site It is located in the district of Baix Penedès and the province of Tarragona but is included in the third crown of the Urban Region of Barcelona. Bordered by Segur de Calafell (location of the municipality of Calafell), in the same area, as well as Cubelles in the district of Garraf and Castellet i la Gornal in the region of Alt Penedès, both from the province of Barcelona. The town has a rail link to Barcelona and further north as it forms part of the Rodalies de Catalunya regional railway network. Baix Penedès
Baix Penedès () is a comarca in Catalonia, Spain. The area has been settled since the times of the Iberians, with ancient ruins remaining in Banyeres at ''Can Canyís'', in the capital El Vendrell at the village of ''Guàrdies'' and in Calafell at the villages of ''Toixoneres'' and ''la Ciutadella'' ("The Citadel"). Costa Daurada
The Costa Daurada (, es, Costa Dorada, meaning in English "Golden Coast") is an area on the coast of Catalonia, Spain, between Cunit and Alcanar on the Mediterranean Sea. Its traditional banks are the deltas of the Foix and Ebro rivers, although it mainly refers to the entire province of Tarragona. To the north it borders the Garraf Massif and it borders the Costa del Azahar to the south. Places of interest include the El Vendrell beaches, the town of Roc de San Gaieta, the Roman Arch of Bará, the remains of Tarraco, declared a World Heritage Site and as well as several small towns or places such as Sant Carles de la Ràpita, with one of the best fishing ports in this entire coastal sector. Castellet i la Gornal is a municipality in the ''comarca'' of the Alt Penedès in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated in the valley of the Foix river at the point where it crosses the Coastal Range. The river is dammed to form the Foix reservoir. The ''ajuntament'' (town hall) is in La Gornal. The municipality is served by the N-340 road, and by a local road to Vilanova i la Geltrú. Rodalies de Catalunya (, ; "Commuter Rail of Catalonia") is the main commuter and regional rail system in the Spanish autonomous community of Catalonia.
