Cumbernauld (; ) is a large town in the Shires of Scotland, historic county of Dunbartonshire and council area of North Lanarkshire, Scotland. Condorrat
Condorrat is a former village in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. Like Luggiebank, Castlecary and Dullatur, it predates the Planned community, new town of Cumbernauld, but unlike those Condorrat was officially included in the designated new town area. Since then it has officially been part of Cumbernauld although it retains some of its own distinctive character. Dalshannon Farm and cottages were located in the area west of the original town and farm, and north of the Luggie. So also was a corn mill called Wood Mill. Road signs show they are is now in the western part of Condorrat towards Mollinsburn. Condorrat now has many of its own facilities, including a Community health center, health centre, 3 Primary school, primary schools and a library. Livingston Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club based in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland. The men's side currently compete in , the women's side currently compete in . History Established in 1968, as Livingston and District RFC, the team was founded through a local appeal for players by Jack Nixon, a native of Langholm, who in the 1960s was the Youth Officer of the West Lothian County Council. Among his responsibilities was to assistance in setting up clubs and organisations for the newcomers to Livingston. At the meeting, players from Bathgate RFC decided that amalgamating with the new Livingston side would allow them better opportunities for success and also give them a better chance of gaining a home ground, they had played previous games in Airdrie. Irvine Rugby Football Club is a Rugby Football club in the Scottish Rugby Union, that now plays its rugby in the . They are based in Irvine, Scotland and play their Rugby at Marress. History Beginning Irvine Royal Academy was predominantly a football playing school until the late forties when a rugby playing gym teacher arrived at the school. Harry "Stasher" Murray set about introducing rugby football to the uninitiated of Irvine. For twelve or so years, those who wished to continue playing rugby after school, had to travel to Ardrossan Academicals to play at the club there. In the early sixties some senior pupils at the school suggested that it was time that Irvine should have a team of its own and a meeting was held. By late 1962 Irvine Royal Academicals had been constituted with Bill Inglis, a history teacher at the school, as its first president.
