Csaba Sógor
Csaba Sógor (born 12 May 1964) is a Romanian politician and Member of the European Parliament, representing the Hungarians, Hungarian minority. He is also the member of the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania. Currently Sógor is the candidate for the Member of the European Parliament on behalf of the European People's Party (EPP). Székelys
The Székelys (, Old Hungarian script, Székely runes: ), also referred to as Szeklers, are a Hungarians, Hungarian subgroup living mostly in the Székely Land in Romania. In addition to their native villages in Suceava County in Bukovina, a significant population descending from the Székelys of Bukovina currently lives in Tolna County, Tolna and Baranya County, Baranya counties in Hungary and certain districts of Vojvodina, Serbia. Ciceu
Ciceu ( , or colloquially ) is a commune in Romania, located in Harghita County. It lies in the Székely Land, an ethno-cultural region in eastern Transylvania. The commune is composed of two villages: *Ciaracio / Csaracsó *Ciceu / Csíkcsicsó History The remains of its small castle can be seen on a ridge west of the village which was probably built further to a royal decree after the Mongol invasion of 1241-42. Its history is not known. According to the local tradition, the friars of the Csíksomlyó Franciscan Monastery had lived in the castle before their monastery was built. The Reformed Church in Romania (; ) is a Calvinist denomination and the largest Protestant church in Romania. The majority of its followers are of Hungarian ethnicity and Hungarian is the main church language.
