Crystal Envy is the stage name of Christopher Cianci (born February 8, 1997), an American drag performer who competed on the seventeenth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', and received the title of Miss Congeniality for the season. Early life and education Cianci was born in Staten Island, New York, and moved to New Jersey at the age of 7. He grew up in Jackson, New Jersey. He began doing makeup at the age of 14, met his "drag mother" Jade Embers on Tumblr in 2011, and started doing drag in high school as Crystal Envy Embers until stopping at the age of 18. The Ballroom scene (also known as the Ballroom community, Ballroom culture, or just Ballroom) is an African-American and Latino underground LGBTQ+ subculture. The scene traces its origins to the drag balls of the mid-19th century United States, such as those hosted by William Dorsey Swann, a formerly enslaved Black man in Washington D.C.. James Heath-Clark (born August 13, 1985), known professionally as Honey Davenport, is an American drag queen, drag performer, singer, songwriter, actor and activist. Davenport was a longtime fixture of the New York City nightlife scene and came to international attention as a contestant on RuPaul's Drag Race (season 11), season 11 of ''RuPaul's Drag Race''.
