Crown Of Thornz
Crown of Thornz are a hardcore punk band, formed in New York City in 1994. By their 1998 disbandment, they were one of the most prominent groups in New York hardcore. They released only one EP, ''Train Yard Blues'' (1995); one studio album, ''Mentally Vexed'' (1996); and one split single with Aggressive Dogs (1998). Following their 2012 reunion, they have release the two track single ''Nothing But Tragedy''. The thornback guitarfish (''Platyrhinoidis triseriata'') is a species of Batoidea, ray in the family (biology), family Platyrhinidae, and the only member of its genus. Despite its name and appearance, it is more closely related to electric rays than to true guitarfishes of the family Rhinobatidae. This species ranges from Tomales Bay to the Gulf of California, generally in inshore waters no deeper than . It can be found on or buried in sand or mud, or in and near kelp beds. Pain of Truth are an American hardcore punk band formed in Long Island, New York in 2020. , they have released one demo, two split EPs, and one studio album. Bulldoze is an American beatdown hardcore band formed in Irvington, New Jersey in 1992. Originating from thrash metal band Retribution, Bulldoze's mid-tempo, heavy metal-inspired take on hardcore punk developed the beatdown hardcore genre. They have released a single studio album, ''The Final Beatdown'' (1996), along with the ''Remember Whose Strong'' (1994) EP and ''Cleaning Shit Up!!'' (1993) demo. Trapped Under Ice
Trapped Under Ice is an American hardcore punk band from Baltimore, Maryland that was formed in 2007. Since then they have released an EP and three full-length albums. Taking influence from New York hardcore, the band has toured all over the world and was signed to Reaper Records. On August 11, 2013, Trapped Under Ice played its last show at Philadelphia's The Electric Factory at This Is Hardcore Festival 2013. The band announced their reunion in early 2015. Founded in 1980, the band is considered an important influence on the New York hardcore scene, as well as a pioneer of the crossover thrash genre. The Transplants
The Transplants are an American punk rock and rap rock supergroup. They formed in 1999 when Tim Armstrong (of the bands Rancid and Operation Ivy) played his friend and roadie Rob Aston some beats he had made using Pro Tools and asked Aston if he would consider contributing lyrics. Initially, Armstrong played all the instruments himself, but as the project grew, he invited musician friends such as Matt Freeman (Operation Ivy, Rancid), Lars Frederiksen (Rancid), and Vic Ruggiero ( The Slackers) to add to the sound. Before long, Armstrong and Aston decided to officially form a band, but to make things complete, they wanted a drummer, so Travis Barker from Blink-182 was asked to join in 2002.
