The crown prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain () is the heir apparent to the King of Bahrain and official heir presumptive to King of Bahrain. Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa was sworn in as ''Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain'' on 9 March 1999 and held the post of commander-in-chief of the Bahrain Defence Force from 22 March 1999 to 6 January 2008. Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa (born 21 October 1969) is Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain. He is also the deputy supreme commander of the Bahrain Defence Force. Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa (; 1940 – 9 November 2009) was the youngest of three sons of the hakim of Bahrain, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa () (24 November 1935 – 11 November 2020) was a Bahraini royal and politician who served as the Prime Minister of Bahrain, prime minister of Bahrain from 10 January 1970 until his death in 2020.
