Crown is an unincorporated community in Stanford Township, Isanti County, Minnesota Minnesota ( ) is a U.S. state, state in the Upper Midwestern region of the United States. It is bordered by the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Ontario to the north and east and by the U.S. states of Wisconsin to the east, Iowa to the so ..., United States. History Crown was founded in the late 19th century by primarily German immigrants as a farming community. Among the first residents in the area were families with the surnames of Grams, Whittlef (also spelled Wittlief and Wittlef), Stoeckel, Lemke, Hartfiel, and Hass.
