Croatia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "", written by Miran Hadži Veljković, and performed by the band Kraljevi ulice and 75 Cents. The Croatian participating broadcaster, (HRT), organised the national final ''Dora 2008'' to select its entry for the contest. A total of twenty-four entries competed in the national final which consisted of two shows: a semi-final and a final. In the semi-final on 22 February 2008, six entries qualified to compete in the final on 23 February 2008 alongside ten pre-qualified songs. Miroslav Škoro (; born 29 July 1962) is a Croatian politician, musician, TV host and former diplomat. He is the founder and the first president of the conservative Homeland Movement party, which he established in February 2020 and led until July 2021. Maja Šuput (born 22 September 1979) is a Croatian singer, actress, television host and businesswoman. Biography Šuput was born on 22 September 1979, in Zagreb, as the only child of mother Danica and father Boris Šuput. Marko Tomasović (born 18 May 1976) is a Croatian composer and songwriter. He has composed and written more than 300 songs. His work has covered various genres. Marko is a member of Croatian Composers' Society, and he was listed as one of the 10 most performed authors in Croatia in 2004. Ibrahim "Ibrica" Jusić (born 15 December 1944) is a Croatian chanson, folk, pop and sevdalinka singer-songwriter and musician. Giuliano Đanić (born 14 May 1973), known professionally as Giuliano, is a Croatian pop singer. Music career In mid 1988, Giuliano, along with Siniša Vuco, formed the rock band Kleopatra. Antonija Šola (; born 5 June 1979) is a Croatian musician, singer-songwriter, lyricist, actress and music producer.
