A joint-stock company is a business entity in which shares of the company's stock can be bought and sold by shareholders. Music Genres
A music genre is a conventional category that identifies some pieces of music as belonging to a shared tradition or set of conventions. It is to be distinguished from ''musical form'' and musical style, although in practice these terms are sometimes used interchangeably. Opća Opasnost
Opća opasnost (lit. "General danger") is a rock band from Croatia known for rock ballads. Founded by Slaven Živanović and Pero Galić in Županja in 1992, they grew to six members and released their first studio album in 1994, ''Treba mi nešto jače od sna'', for Euroton records, a Croatian indie label. The songs "Opća opasnost", "Treba mi nešto jače od sna" and "Jednom kad noć" did very well on Croatian top lists at the time, and the latter became their signature song and one of the greatest ballads of ex-Yugoslav rock. They released another album, ''Amerika'', for another local indie label, before signing on to Croatia Records for their 1997 album ''Ruski rulet''. Jelena Rozga
Jelena Rozga (born 23 August 1977) is a Croatian pop, folk, and electropop singer. Born and raised in Split, Croatia, Rozga was a ballet dancer as a child. She rose to fame in 1996, when she became the lead singer of Magazin, a pop band famous in Croatia. She served as the band's lead singer until 2006, releasing a total of five studio albums. Crvena jabuka () is a pop rock band formed in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1985. Since then they had great success and are still very popular. They were a part of the New primitives movement that started during the 80s. Biography The 80s Crvena jabuka was founded in 1985. The first line-up of the band consisted of drummer Darko Jelčić, lead guitarist/singer Dražen Ričl "Zijo", bassist Aljoša Buha, rhythm guitarist/lead songwriter "Zlaja", and keyboardist/vocalist Dražen Žerić "Žera." Thompson (band)
Thompson is a Croatian ethno hard rock band, founded by songwriter and lead vocalist Marko Perković ("Thompson"), who is often identified with the band itself. The lineup consists of Tomislav Mandarić, Ivan Ivanković, Duje Ivić, and Ivica Bilić Ike. The band name originates from the Thompson submachine gun, a nickname given to Perković while he fought in the Croatian War of Independence. Teška Industrija (trans. "''Heavy Industry''") is a rock band from Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in Sarajevo. They are noted for a mixture of hard rock and prog-rock sound with elements of bosnian folk music and "symphonic" arrangements. Teška Industrija have had many line-up changes, disbanding in 1978 and re-forming again in 2007 after several unsuccessful attempts. Majke ("mothers") are a cult Croatian rock band. Founded in 1984 in Vinkovci, Majke were one of the many bands to appear in a town that had a particularly vibrant rock and alternative scene. Josipa Lisac
Josipa Lisac (; born 14 February 1950) is a Croatian pop rock singer. Biography During the 1960s, Lisac was the vocalist of the group Zlatni Akordi. Her first solo album, ''Dnevnik jedne ljubavi'' (''The Diary of a Love''), recorded in 1973, was a huge success and remains today one of the most legendary albums in Croatia. Journalist and producer Peca Popović noted that ''Dnevnik jedne ljubavi'' was also only the fourth rock record and the first female-fronted record released in Yugoslavia. ''Gubec-beg'' was the first Croatian rock opera where Josipa had the demanding role of Jana.
