Cristofer Rosales
Cristofer Jordan Rosales González (born 6 October 1994) is a Nicaraguan professional boxer who held the WBC flyweight title in 2018. Professional career Rosales turned professional in 2013 and had a record 26–3 before challenging Japanese boxer Daigo Higa for the vacant WBC flyweight title. During the weigh-in for the fight Higa missed weight and the title became vacant with only Rosales eligible to win it. In the fight itself Rosales would go on to stop Higa in the ninth round to capture the vacant WBC title. In his first title defence, Rosales defeated two-time Olympic bronze medalist Paddy Barnes. Barnes started the fight well, but Rosales caught him with a body shot in the fourth, from which Barnes could not get up. Light Flyweight
Light flyweight, also known as junior flyweight or super strawweight, is a weight class in boxing. Professional boxing The weight limit at light flyweight in professional boxing is 108 pounds (49 kilograms). When New York legalized boxing in 1920, the law stipulated a "junior flyweight" class, with a weight limit of 99 pounds. When the National Boxing Association was formed in 1921, it also recognized this weight class. However, on January 19, 1922, the NBA decided to withdraw recognition of the junior flyweight division. On December 31, 1929, the New York State Athletic Commission also abolished the junior flyweight class. No champion had been crowned in this division prior to its abolition. Yokohama Arena
is an indoor arena located in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The capacity of the arena is 17,000 and was opened in 1989. The arena was modeled after US sports venue Madison Square Garden in New York City. It is a five-minute walk from the closest station, Shin-Yokohama Station on the JR/Yokohama Municipal Subway.
