Cristián Araya (politician)
Cristián Andrés Araya Lerdo de Tejada (Santiago, September 30, 1988) is a lawyer, psychologist, and politician from Chile. He currently serves as a deputy representing District 11, which includes the communes of Las Condes, Lo Barnechea, Vitacura, La Reina, and Peñalolén. Biography Personal life Araya was born in Santiago de Chile on September 30, 1988, to Cristián Araya Molina and Cecilia Lerdo de Tejada Gajardo. From 1994 to 2006, he attended primary and secondary school at the José Victorino Lastarria High School. As a student leader, he was involved in the 2006 Penguin Revolution, where he opposed school occupations and developed a good relationship with Julio Isamit. He studied psychology at Adolfo Ibáñez University, where he also earned a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology. The Chamber of Deputies () is the lower house of Chile's Bicameralism, bicameral National Congress of Chile, Congress. Its organisation and its powers and duties are defined in articles 42 to 59 of Chile's current Chilean Constitution of 1980, constitution. Benjamin Moreno Bascur (Santiago, April 2, 1993) is an agricultural engineer, rodeo rider, corralero leader and Chilean politician, member of the Republican Party. Since March 2022, he has served as a deputy of the Republic representing district No. 17 of the Maule Region, for the legislative period 2022-2026.
