Cristina Álvarez Rodríguez
María Cristina Álvarez Rodríguez (born 28 December 1967) is an Argentine architect and politician, currently serving as Minister of Government and Infrastructure of Buenos Aires Province, under Governor Axel Kicillof. She was previously a National Deputy representing Buenos Aires Province from 2015 to 2021. A great-niece of Eva Perón, she belongs to the peronist Justicialist Party. Education Rodriquez was born in Buenos Aires on December 28, 1967. She got her degree in architecture in 1992 from the University of Buenos Aires Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism. In 2002 she completed a master's degree in Photography from the University of Palermo. Buenos Aires, officially the Buenos Aires Province, is the largest and most populous Provinces of Argentina, Argentine province. It takes its name from the city of Buenos Aires, the capital of the country, which used to be part of the province and the province's capital until it was Federalization of Buenos Aires, federalized in 1880. Since then, in spite of bearing the same name, the province does not include Buenos Aires city, though it does include all other parts of the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area. The Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism (''Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo''; FADU) is a faculty of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), the largest university in Argentina. Established in 1901 as the School of Architecture, it has since expanded to impart courses on graphic design and urbanism.
