Cristina Castro (politician)
Cristina Castro (born February 25, 1978) is a Democratic member of the Illinois Senate who took office in January 2017. Castro represents the 22nd district, which includes all or portions of Elgin, Barrington Hills, Carpentersville, East Dundee and South Elgin, Streamwood, Hoffman Estates, Hanover Park, Schaumburg, and Bartlett. Prior to her election to the Illinois Senate, Castro was a member of the Kane County Board and Illinois Housing Development Authority. Castro, an Elgin resident, has an Associate of Science from Elgin Community College and a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. In 2018, J. B. Michael Noland
Michael Noland (born December 5, 1960) is a former Democratic member of the Illinois Senate, representing the 22nd District from 2007 to 2017. In November 2018, he was elected Kane County Circuit Court Judge in the 16th Judicial Circuit of Illinois. Noland earned his bachelor's degree and M.B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his J.D. degree from John Marshall Law School. He served as a Navy Corpsman while on active duty at the Great Lakes Naval Hospital and in the Reserves with the United States Marine Corps. The village is primarily located in Cook and DuPage counties, with a small parcel on the western border located in Kane County. Bartlett is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. History In its earliest times, the Village of Bartlett, Illinois, served as a hunting and camping ground for the Cherokee, Miami, Potawatomi, and Ottawa Indians. Throughout the past, the Northwest Territory, Virginia, Indiana, Spain, France and England had staked their claim for Bartlett. However, the territory was owned by a man named Luther Bartlett. 4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern. The Arabs' 4 still had the early concept of the cross, but for the sake of efficiency, was made in one stroke by connecting the "western" end to the "northern" end; the "eastern" end was finished off with a curve.
