Marta Victoria Moya Peggo Burges (24 February 1931 – 27 June 2020), known professionally as Linda Cristal (), was an Argentine–American actress. She appeared in a number of Western films during the 1950s, before winning a Golden Globe Award for her performance in the 1958 comedy film '' The Perfect Furlough''. From 1967 to 1971, Cristal starred as Victoria Cannon in the NBC series '' The High Chaparral''. Pilsner (also pilsener or simply pils) is a type of pale lager. It takes its name from the Bohemian city of Plzeň (), where the world's first pale lager (now known as Pilsner Urquell) was produced in 1842 by Pilsner Urquell Brewery. History Origin The city of Plzeň was granted brewing rights in 1307. Until the mid-1840s, most Bohemian beers were top-fermented. Cerveza Cristal (lit. ''Cristal Beer'') is a Chilean brand of pilsner beer, introduced in 1977 and sold by Compañía de Cervecerías Unidas (CCU). History The brand was registered as "Pilsener Cristal" in August 1977 and its commercial launch occurred in 1978. In 1993, it was relaunched as "Cerveza Cristal", and in that same year, it adopted the motto "Única, Grande y Nuestra" ("Unique, Great and Ours"). Simone Bittencourt de Oliveira (born December 25, 1949), better known as Simone, is a Brazilian singer of Música Popular Brasileira (MPB) who has recorded more than 30 albums. Biography Simone was born on December 25, 1949, in Salvador, Bahia, as the seventh daughter in a family of nine children. During her teenage years, she was a professional basketball player and moved to São Paulo to become a member of the women's national basketball team.
