Cricket At The 2014 Asian Games
Cricket was one of the 36 sports at 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea from 20 September to 3 October 2014. Both Men's and Women's tournaments were held in the event. Top Asian associate members and full members took part at the 2014 Asian Games. The matches were played under Twenty20 format. In the men's event, Sri Lanka won the gold medal by defeating Afghanistan by 68 runs. Bangladesh won the bronze medal by defeating Hong Kong. In the women's event, Pakistan won the gold medal by defeating Bangladesh by 4 runs in a rain-reduced match. Sri Lanka won the bronze medal by defeating China. Yeonhui Cricket Ground
Yeonhui Cricket Ground is a cricket stadium in Incheon, South Korea built for Cricket at the 2014 Asian Games. The 2014 Asian Games featured cricket for both the men's and the women's event and this ground was used for the cricket matches that were played in the games. It has been reported that the crowd capacity of this ground is 3000. This was the first cricket stadium in South Korea. In 2018, it hosted first ever T20I match between South Korea and China. Subasinghe Mudiyanselage Ashan Priyanjan (born 14 August 1989) is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays for the national side in limited over formats. He is a middle-order batsman and occasionally a right-arm off break bowler. Kande Arachchige Isuru Udana Tillakaratna ( si, ඉසුරු උදාන; born 17 February 1988) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who represented Sri Lanka internationally in limited over formats. He currently plays domestic cricket for Tamil Union and Wayamba. Primarily a left arm fast bowler, Udana evolved as an all-rounder in late 2018.
