Beverley Cressman
Beverley Cressman is a British actress, best known for being the first person cast as Kate Lethbridge-Stewart. She appeared in two unofficial direct-to-video '' Doctor Who'' spin-offs, ''Downtime'' (1995), and ''Dæmos Rising'' (2004). Career Cressmain was trained as an actor at the Guildford School of Acting. In 1995, Cressman played Kate Lethbridge-Stewart in the ''Reeltime Pictures'' film ''Downtime''. The film also starred Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier and Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith. In 1999, Cressman appeared as a driving instructor in the TV series Grange Hill. In the same year Cressman played Debbie Hunter in the ''Pig Heart Boy'' episode ''Losing It''. Cressman played the role of Kate Lethbridge-Stewart again in the 2004 film ''Dæmos Rising''. She starred in this film alongside her then husband Miles Richardson. Dave Cressman
David Gregory Cressman (born January 2, 1950) is a Canadians, Canadian retired ice hockey Winger (ice hockey), left winger. He played 85 games in the NHL for the Minnesota North Stars over the 1974–75 NHL season, 1974–75 and 1975–76 NHL seasons. Cressman was born in Kitchener, Ontario. He was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in the fourth round (48th overall) of the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft, but he did not begin to play professional hockey until after he had completed his university education to become a teacher. Coaching career During the 1990s Cressman coached Junior B hockey at the University of Waterloo, and during the 2002-03 season he stepped in to coach nine games for the Odessa Jackalopes (Central Hockey League) while their regular head coach, Don McKee was having heart surgery. Joseph Cheesman Thompson (1874–1943) was a career medical officer in the United States Navy who attained the rank of commander before retirement in 1929. His foes called him 'Crazy Thompson', but to friends he was known as 'Snake', a nickname derived from his expertise in the field of herpetology. Early life and education Thompson grew up in Japan as the son of a missionary. In 1892, Thompson graduated from the Columbia Medical School. Service during the Boxer Rebellion Thompson joined the US Navy in 1897. Luther Cressman
Luther Sheeleigh Cressman (October 24, 1897 – April 4, 1994) was an American field archaeologist, most widely known for his discoveries at Paleo-Indian sites such as Fort Rock Cave and Paisley Caves, sites related to the early settlement of the Americas. Early years Cressman was born outside of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, the son of a physician. He was ordained an Episcopal priest in 1923. Majoring in Classics, he graduated with a B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1918. Feeling doubts about his vocation, he began studying sociology and anthropology at Columbia University in New York. He received his Ph.D. from Columbia in 1928, and that same year, he left the priesthood. Career In 1929, he took a position as Professor of Sociology at the University of Oregon. The Department of Anthropology was founded by him six years later. His first hire for the department was Homer Barnett.
