Crescendo The Musical
''Crescendo'' () is a Singaporean musical drama produced by production company Wawa Pictures and telecast on MediaCorp Channel 8. It stars Christopher Lee, Tay Ping Hui, Darren Lim, Jacelyn Tay, Cynthia Koh and Ann Kok in this series. The series is set against the backdrop of the Xinyao Movement, synonymous with the pursuit of dreams of a young generation of Singaporeans in the local music industry, and a part of Singapore culture many still hold dear. Bonnie Loo (born 12 July 1994) is a Malaysian actress and singer based in Singapore managed by The Celebrity Agency. Early life Loo was born in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia, and is the elder of two daughters. Liang Wern Fook
Dr Liang Wern Fook (; born 1964 in Singapore) is a Cantonese Singaporean writer, musician, singer and researcher in Chinese literature and pedagogy. He was one of the pioneer figures in '' xinyao'' (Singaporean Chinese folk songs) movement in the 1980s and 1990s. Early life and education Liang grew up in a music-loving household, along with his two younger siblings. His father, a journalist, and his mother, an acupuncturist, were always playing the records of singers like Bai Guang and Zhou Xuan. Liang received his primary and secondary school education at Catholic High School. He started taking piano lessons at the age of 10, and went on to attain a Grade 8 certificate. Hu Wensui
Hu Wensui (born 15 December 1981) is a Singapore-based Chinese actor, businessman, filmmaker and tour guide. Early life and career Hu attended Shanghai Theatre Academy and studied acting. The Shanghai male winner and overall male runner-up in '' Star Search 2001'', Hu signed to Mediacorp as a full-time actor til 2004, during which he participated in more than 50 local drama series. Alfred Sim
Alfred Sim Chee Hao (born 4 October 1981) is a Singaporean singer, athletics coach and occasional actor. He is best known for being the winner of the third season of reality singing competition ''Project SuperStar''. Career Musical Sim auditioned for the first and second seasons of ''Project Superstar'' in 2005 and 2006 respectively, but he did not make it as one of the finalists. Stella Seah (born Seah Hui Xian; 28 October 1992) is a Singaporean singer-songwriter currently signed under Ocean Butterflies Music. Guo Liang (born 11 November 1968) is a Chinese nationality law, Chinese-born Singaporeans, Singaporean actor, television host and radio deejay.
