''The Jaws of Life'' is the fifth studio album by American rock band Pierce the Veil, released on February 10, 2023. It is the band's first album not to feature drummer Mike Fuentes, with Brad Hargreaves of Third Eye Blind filling in. The band parted ways with Fuentes in 2017, following allegations of sexual misconduct. It is their first album to have a title track. The first single, "Pass the Nirvana", was released on September 1, 2022, marking the first piece of new material from the band since their 2016 album ''Misadventures''. The album was announced November 11, 2022, along with the release of a second single, " Emergency Contact". The third single, "Even When I'm Not with You", was released January 12, 2023. Pierce the Veil is an American rock band formed in San Diego, California, in 2006. It was founded by brothers Vic Fuentes, Vic and Mike Fuentes (musician), Mike Fuentes after the disbanding of Before Today, which formed out of the San Diego Punk rock, punk scene. Jaime Preciado and Tony Perry joined the group in 2007, on bass and lead guitar respectively. Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' '' Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''. Early life and education Jensen was born on September 19, 1954, in New Haven, Connecticut, to Carl and Margaret (Anning) Jensen, both of whom were musicians. Carl had studied at Yale University. Programming is a form of music production and performance using electronic devices and computer software, such as sequencers and workstations or hardware synthesizers, sampler and sequencers, to generate sounds of musical instruments. These musical sounds are created through the use of music coding languages. There are many music coding languages of varying complexity. When We Were Young is an annual music festival currently held at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Winchester, Nevada. It is typically scheduled for the third weekend of October. The most recent event took place from October 19–20, 2024. History The first incarnation of the festival took place at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California on April 8 and 9, 2017. It was headlined by Morrissey. In 2022, the festival was moved to Winchester, Nevada at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. Colin Brittain
Colin Cunningham (born December 29, 1986), known professionally as Colin "Doc" Brittain, is an American songwriter, producer, and musician signed to Warner Chappell Music. In September 2024, he joined Linkin Park and has been the band's new drummer since their reunion following the departure of the band's previous drummer Rob Bourdon. Tony Perry
Tony Perry is an American musician, best known as the lead guitarist of the Rock music, rock band Pierce the Veil. He is also a co-owner of Living The Dream Foundation alongside bandmates Vic Fuentes and Jaime Preciado. Early life Perry was born in Tijuana, Mexico, moving to Lake Tahoe, California at a young age. For a brief period, Perry was the lead guitarist of now-disbanded hardcore band Trigger My Nightmare. Perry worked at a Guitar Center in San Diego, where he met Pierce The Veil frontman, Vic Fuentes.
