''Crazy – Completely Mad'' () is a 1973 West German comedy film directed by Franz Josef Gottlieb and starring Rudi Carrell, Cornelia Froboess Cornelia Froboess (; born 28 October 1943) is a German actress and a teen idol of the 1950s and early 1960s. During that time, Froboess appeared in many West German and Austrian musical films, especially after the rock and roll wave had hit Germ ..., and Monika Lundi. Plot Robert lives comfortably in a big mansion and luxury, all financed by his rich uncle in Brazil whom he made believe he studied medicine, that he is a successful married doctor who runs his own hospital. For 20 years the lie had gone unnoticed by his uncle until he intends to visit his nephew in Germany. In an attempt to ward off his uncle's visit Robert claims to be busy with a famous science professor from the eastern European state of Bosnatia, but to no avail. Franz Josef Gottlieb
Franz Josef Gottlieb (1 November 1930 – 23 July 2006) was an Austrian film director and screenwriter. He directed 60 films between 1959 and 2005. He also directed the children's series ''Ravioli'' in 1983; it aired on ZDF in 1984. He was born in Semmering, Austria and died in Verden an der Aller, Germany of a brain tumor, at age 75. Georg Thomalla
Georg Thomalla (14 February 1915 – 25 August 1999) was a German actor. He appeared in about one hundred fifty film and television productions between 1939 and 2000 and was widely known in Germany for his comedic roles. Thomalla was well known in Germany as a voiceover artist, dubbing particularly comedians, such as Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau in the '' Pink Panther'' movies, and he was the standard German dubbing voice of Jack Lemmon from 1955 to 1998. Thomalla dubbed Lemmon as the second musician in ''Some Like It Hot'', after having himself played the same role in the German comedy '' Fanfares of Love'' (1951), the direct predecessor to ''Some Like It Hot''. Thomalla met Lemmon at the 1996 Berlin International Film Festival, where he gave a speech in Lemmon's honor. He was awarded the German Federal Cross of Merit in 1985.
