Crazy Desire
''Crazy Desire'' (originally titled as ''La voglia matta'', also known as ''The Crazy Urge'') is a 1962 Italian comedy film directed by Luciano Salce. It launched the film career of Catherine Spaak. The film initially was banned by the Italian censors and then cut in some parts and released with a ban for persons under 14 years. Plot Antonio Berlinghieri (Ugo Tognazzi) is a 39-year-old engineer and father travelling on a highway one summer in his sports car when he sees a broken-down car with a group of teenagers. He stops to help them but soon discovers that the young men have a frivolous attitude. At first, he thinks of leaving to continue his trip but then notices the beauty of Francesca (Catherine Spaak), a fifteen-year-old girl. Luciano Salce
Luciano Salce (25 September 1922 – 17 December 1989) was an Italian film director, comedian, television host, producer, actor and lyricist. His 1962 film ''Le pillole di Ercole'' was shown as part of a retrospective on Italian comedy at the 67th Venice International Film Festival. As a writer of pop music, he used the pseudonym Pilantra. During World War II, he was a prisoner in Germany. He later worked for several years in Brazil. Béatrice Altariba (born 18 June 1939) is a French actress who was active between 1956 and 1969. Enrico Sbriccoli (13 November 1934 – 11 September 2013), known professionally as Jimmy Fontana, was an Italian actor, composer and singer-songwriter. Two of his most famous songs are " Che sarà", performed also by José Feliciano with Ricchi e Poveri, and " Il Mondo". Biography Enrico Sbriccoli was born in Camerino, Marche. After graduating from high school, he moved to Rome to study Economics. In his spare time, Fontana taught himself bass and attend local jazz venues. Castellano & Pipolo is the stage name used by the pair of Italian screenwriters and film directors Franco Castellano (1925–1999) and Giuseppe Moccia (1933–2006). Together, they wrote the screenplays for about seventy films, and directed twenty films, mainly comedies. Fabrizio Capucci
Fabrizio Capucci (4 August 1939 – 19 December 2024) was an Italian actor and producer. Life and career Born in Rome, the brother of the fashion designer Roberto, Capucci studied acting at the drama school held by Pietro Sharoff in his hometown. After appearing in several supporting roles, he had his breakout with the role of Max in Florestano Vancini's '' The Warm Life''. He was also active in a number of television miniseries and recorded some singles. After retiring from acting, Capucci started a career as a producer of commercials. In 2004 he ran in the Lazio regional election for the Union of Democrats for Europe party, without being elected. He was also president of the football team Viterbese for two years. Capucci was married to actress Catherine Spaak. They had a daughter, Sabrina. Capucci died in Rome on 19 December 2024, at the age of 85.
