Crazy Crooks
''Crazy Crooks'' is a 1980 Hong Kong comedy film produced and directed by Karl Maka and starring Dean Shek and Maka. Shek plays a master swindler who teams up with a less-than-competent amateur swindler (Maka) to scam money from a tycoon which turns out to be counterfeit bills, and end up being targeted for murder by the tycoon. Plot Mo-pei-chai is a master swindler with a sassy wife and ten children who might not all be his due to his wife's numerous affairs with many men. After endless verbal abuse from his wife, Mo-pei-chai leaves his family for good and bumps into Kwong-kwan-chat, another swindler who is rather bumbling. Kwong-kwan-chat unsuccessfully tries to swindle Mo-pei-chai, who outsmarts him. The two later bump into each other again where Kwong-kwan-chat tries to play tricks on Mo-pei-chai but end up suffering from his own deeds. Raymond Wong Pak-ming (Chinese: 黃百鳴, born 8 April 1946; sometimes transliterated as Raymond Wong Bak-ming) is a Hong Kong film producer, playwright, director and actor. He is one of the most successful producers in Hong Kong cinema, having been one of the comedians to establish Cinema City Studios in 1980. Jenny Tseng (, Yan Nei; born Yan Suk Si (); 20 February 1953) is a singer, actress, and producer from Macau. She is best known in Cantonese-speaking regions, and she has been based in Hong Kong for much of her career. Chiu Chi-ling
Chiu Chi-ling (; born 1943) is a martial artist and actor who appears mostly in Kung Fu style movies produced in Hong Kong. He also teaches Hung Gar Kung Fu at Chiu Chi-ling Hung Gar Kung Fu Association, a San Francisco-based martial arts school he founded, and at the old Chiu Family Kwoon in Hong Kong rooted under the lineage of Lam Sai-wing.
