Crazy (4Minute EP)
''Crazy'' is the sixth extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group 4Minute. It was released on February 9, 2015, by Cube Entertainment and distributed by Universal Music Group. It was the group's first offering in 11 months since the release of '' 4Minute World'' (2014). The EP marked a shift towards a bolder concept and fresh direction for the group and contains six songs. Musically, the album is characterized by the group's signature hip hop sound, while also encompassing several other genres including, trap, dance, Europop, funk, disco and rock. Upon release, ''Crazy'' received generally favourable reviews from music critics, who praised its production, musical direction and the group's vocal performance. Commercially, the album debuted and peaked at number two on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart, and became the fourth best-selling album of February 2015 in the country. 4Minute
4Minute (, often stylized in all caps) was a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment, consisting of members Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon, Hyuna and Sohyun. The group was known for its edgy dance-pop style and " girl crush" image that attracted a large female fan base. The group debuted in June 2009 with the single, "Hot Issue." They ultimately released one full-length Japanese album, ''Diamond'' (2010), one full-length Korean album, '' 4Minutes Left'' (2011), seven Korean extended plays, and multiple singles. The Circle Album Chart, previously known as the Gaon Album Chart, is a record chart ranking the 100 most popular albums, extended plays and single albums in South Koreabased on their Record sales, physical sales. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. It compiles shipments in weekly, monthly, and year-end formats with detailed album sales.
