Robert E. Nyce (born October 14, 1946) is a former Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Formative years Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania on October 14, 1946, Nyce graduated from Northampton Area Senior High School in Northampton. Nyce served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1969. Having completed his basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lewis, Washington he was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Infantry Unit, "The Old Guard" at Arlington National Cemetery where he served for roughly two-and-one-half years, attaining the rank of staff sergeant, E-6 before taking an early release to return to Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in September 1969.
