"Cradle 2005" is a song recorded by English girl group Atomic Kitten from their compilation '' The Greatest Hits''. It was released as a single on 14 February 2005, in aid of World Vision, a year after the group's announcement of their split in 2004. It is a partially re-recorded version of a song that was previously included on their debut album, '' Right Now'' (2000). While the demo version of "Cradle", produced by Simon Franglen, appeared on the album's early 2000 Japanese release; a slightly faster recording, produced by Quiz & Larossi, appeared on the album's late 2000 UK release. Atomic Kitten were an English girl group formed in Liverpool in 1998, whose original lineup comprised Kerry Katona, Liz McClarnon, and Natasha Hamilton. The group was founded by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) members Andy McCluskey and Stuart Kershaw, who served as principal songwriters during Atomic Kitten's early years. The group's debut album ''Right Now (Atomic Kitten album), Right Now'' was released in October 2000 and charted at number 39 in the United Kingdom. Elizabeth Margaret McClarnon-Cho (born 10 April 1981) is an English singer, songwriter and actress, who is the longest serving member of the girl group Atomic Kitten, with whom she has scored three number-one singles and two number-one albums. McClarnon co-wrote several Atomic Kitten songs, including the UK top 10 hits " See Ya", " I Want Your Love" and " Someone Like Me". Susanna Lee Hoffs (born January 17, 1959) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actress. With Debbi Peterson and Vicki Peterson, she founded the Bangles in 1981. Thomas F. Kelly (born April 16, 1948) is an American musician. With Billy Steinberg he co-wrote numerous hit songs for popular music artists, including five number-one singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart in the 1980s. Early life Originally from Indiana, Kelly lived in Effingham, Illinois from 1963 to 1966, before moving back to West Lafayette, Indiana where he graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1967. Kelly attended Eastern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and Purdue University, but dropped out of college to pursue his music career. He played bass guitar and sang in several bands throughout Illinois and Indiana in the late 1960s and early 1970s, including the Trifaris, the Gaping Huggers, the One Eyed Jacks, and the Guild. In 1974 Kelly moved to Los Angeles with his first wife, Kay Kelly, and two children, Barry and Denise.
