Cox Run
Cox Run is a tributary of Little Muncy Creek in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is approximately long and flows through Moreland Township, Wolf Township, and Muncy Creek Township. The watershed of the stream has an area of . Cox Run itself flows through a valley known as Neufer Hollow and is designated as a Coldwater Fishery. A streambank stabilization project along the stream was proposed in 2008. Course Cox Run begins in a valley to the east of Buck Hill in Moreland Township. It flows south for a few tenths of a mile before turning south-southwest, still flowing through its valley alongside Buck Hill. Cox's Orange Pippin
Cox's Orange Pippin, in Britain often referred to simply as Cox, is an apple cultivar first grown in 1825 or 1830 at Colnbrook in Buckinghamshire, England, by the retired brewer and horticulturist Richard Cox (horticulturist), Richard Cox. Though the parentage of the cultivar is unknown, Ribston Pippin seems a likely candidate. DNA analysis of major apple pedigrees has suggested Margil as the parent of Cox, with Ribston Pippin being another Margil seedling. The variety was introduced for sale by the 1850s by Charles Turner, and grown commercially from the 1860s, particularly in the Vale of Evesham in Worcestershire, and later in Kent. The coxswain sits facing the bow, unlike the rowers, and is responsible for steering the boat and coordinating the power and rhythm of the rowers. Cox model engines are used to power small Model aircraft, model airplanes, model cars and model boats. They were in production for more than 60 years between 1945 and 2006. The business is named for founder Leroy M. Cox. He started L.M. Cox Manufacturing Co. Inc, which later became Cox Hobbies Inc., then Cox Products, before being sold to Estes Industries, when it became Cox Models.
