''Covers'' is an extended play by Nigerian-born American Christian and gospel music artist Blessing Offor. The extended play was released on December 6, 2024, through Capitol Christian Music Group. It includes remixes and covers of previously released songs by other artists, including Frank Ocean, Taylor Swift, John Mayer, and Bob Dylan Bob Dylan (legally Robert Dylan; born Robert Allen Zimmerman, May 24, 1941) is an American singer-songwriter. Described as one of the greatest songwriters of all time, Dylan has been a major figure in popular culture over his nearly 70-year .... It features a guest appearance from Bob Lanzetti of Snarky Puppy. The opening track " Godspeed" was released as a single, and achieved a peak chart position of No. 33 on the '' Billboard'' Hot Christian Songs chart. Blessing Offor
Blessing Offor is a Nigerian-born American Gospel music, gospel and contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter. Early life and career Offor was born blind in one eye and with limited vision in the other due to congenital glaucoma. He and his uncle migrated to Connecticut, United States when Offor was six years old to treat the glaucoma and preserve his remaining eyesight. When he was 10, he went completely blind due to an accident. He started composing music on piano and learned to play songs from Stevie Wonder and Sam Cooke, his musical influences. He carried on with his career as a gospel musician and moved to Nashville to pursue music more. Offor played at bars in his young adult years before competing on ''The Voice (American TV series), The Voice'' during The Voice (American season 7), its seventh season in 2014, where he joined team Pharrell Williams and later Adam Levine, before getting eliminated in the show's third round. John Clayton Mayer ( ; born October 16, 1977) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, but he left for Atlanta in 1997 with fellow guitarist Clay Cook, with whom he formed the short-lived rock duo Lo-Fi Masters.
