Covercraft
"Covercraft" is the eighth episode in the The Simpsons season 26, twenty-sixth season of the American animated television series ''The Simpsons'', and the 560th episode of the series overall. The episode was directed by Steven Dean Moore and written by Matt Selman. It first aired on the Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox network in the United States on November 23, 2014. In this episode, Homer forms a band with other dads until Apu becomes a star and joins a more successful band. Will Forte guest starred as King Toot, and musician Sammy Hagar appeared as himself. The episode received negative reviews. Plot Moe Szyslak, Moe and the owner of King Toot's have a fight and are arrested, forcing their businesses to be closed down. Matt Selman (born ) is an American writer and producer. Early life Selman is a native of Watertown, Massachusetts. He graduated from Beaver Country Day School in 1989 and the University of Pennsylvania in 1993. Career After considering a career in journalism, he decided to try to become a television writer. Steven Dean Moore is an American animation director. His credits include 65 episodes of the animated television series ''The Simpsons'' and several episodes of the Nickelodeon series ''Rugrats'' (1991–2004). Moore was also one of four sequence directors on ''The Simpsons Movie'' (2007). He was nominated for an Emmy Awards, Emmy Award in 2002. Sam Roy Hagar (born October 13, 1947), also known as the Red Rocker, is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Genesis (band)
Genesis were an English rock music, rock band formed at Charterhouse School, in Godalming, Surrey, in 1967. The band's longest-lasting and most commercially successful line-up consisted of keyboardist Tony Banks (musician), Tony Banks, bassist/guitarist Mike Rutherford and drummer/singer Phil Collins.
