Courtney Pigram
Courtney Pigram (born November 14, 1985) is an American professional basketball player. Early life and college Pigram grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. While he was in high school, his father died. He had to work to attend East Tennessee State University, where he scored 2,041 points in his four years at the school. He left ETSU as the third leading scorer in school history behind Tim Smith and Greg Dennis. Pigram was named the 2007 Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year after leading East Tennessee State University to the regular season Atlantic Sun Conference title. Professional Going undrafted in the 2009 NBA draft, Pigram played in Spain for BC Andorra and in the People's Republic of China with Heilongjiang Zhaozhou Feng Shen of the second tier National Basketball League before being drafted in the 5th round of the 2011 NBA Development League Draft by the Idaho Stampede. Guard (basketball)
Basketball is a sport with five players on the court for each team at a time. Each player is assigned to different positions defined by the strategic role they play. Atlantic Sun Conference Men's Basketball Player Of The Year
The ASUN Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year is an annual award given to the ASUN Conference's most outstanding player. The award was first given following the 1978–79 season, the first year of the ASUN's existence, when it was known as the Trans America Athletic Conference (TAAC). Only two players have won the award three times: Willie Jackson of Centenary (1982–1984) and Darius McGhee of Liberty (2021–2023). Centenary has the most all-time winners with six, but left the conference in 2000, when the league was still known as the TAAC. Timothy Smith (born July 2, 1982) is an American former professional basketball player who played the point guard position. Smith played collegiately at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) from 2002–03 to 2005–06 before becoming a professional. Basketball career College When Tim Smith entered college in 2002, ETSU was still a member of the Southern Conference. As a freshman in 2002–03 he recorded 475 points, 114 assists and 73 steals.
