Courtney Holtkamp
Courtney Holtkamp (born 25 April 1999) is a Canadian rugby union player. She plays in the Back row for Canada, and competed at the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup. Rugby career 2017–21 Holtkamp debuted internationally for Canada at the age of 18 against England on November 2017 at Allianz Park. In 2020, She signed with Loughborough Lightning for the Premier 15s 2020–21 season. She plays for the Red Deer Titans and has appeared for the University of Alberta Pandas. 2022 Holtkamp competed for Canada at the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. She played against the Eagles in their quarterfinal encounter. Loughborough Lightning (women's Rugby Union)
Loughborough Lightning are a women's rugby union club based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, England. They are the women's team of Loughborough Students RUFC and Loughborough University. Together with the netball team and the women's cricket team, the rugby union team is one of three women's sports teams based Loughborough University that use the Loughborough Lightning name. In 2017, they were selected as a franchise for the inaugural Premier 15s season. History LSWRFC were initially founded in the late 1970s during a boom in women playing rugby at universities across England. In 1983, Loughborough Students were one of the founder members of the Women's Rugby Football Union, set up to regulate women's rugby throughout the British Isles. The France women's national rugby union team represents France in women's international rugby union. They played their first international in 1982 against the Netherlands. New Zealand Women's National Rugby Union Team
The New Zealand women's rugby union team, called the Black Ferns, represents New Zealand in women's international rugby union, which is regarded as the country's national sport. The team has won six out of nine Women's Rugby World Cup tournaments. They have an 85 per cent winning record in Test match rugby, and are the only women's international side with a winning record against every opponent. Since their official international debut in 1990, the Black Ferns have lost to only four of the sixteen nations they have played against. 2023 Pacific Four Series
The 2023 Pacific Four Series was the third edition of the Pacific Four Series, an international women's rugby union tournament that served as one of the principal qualification routes for the top two tiers of WXV. The tournament was hosted by Spain, Australia and Canada. The series took place over three months. The first round saw Canada and the United States play the opening match in Madrid on 1 April 2023, followed by Australia hosting New Zealand on 29 June 2023 in Brisbane. The series concluded in Canada with all four teams competing over two weekends in early July for the title. The USA Women's National Team XVs is the senior national team for the United States in the 15-a-side version of rugby. The team was officially formed in 1987 and is nicknamed the Eagles.
