The Council of Ministers () was first constituted in the Syrian Constitution of 1930. Following the fall of the Assad regime on 8 December 2024, Syria is currently undergoing a political transition, with Ahmed al-Sharaa leading a Syrian transitional government. Cabinet in the Constitution With the 2012 Constitution of Ba'athist Syria suspended following the fall of the Assad regime, the new 2025 Interim Constitution establishes a presidential system in which executive power is concentrated in the hands of the president, who appoints the ministers without the position of prime minister. The emblem of Syria is the unofficial emblem of Syria. It features a gold-coloured Hawk of Quraish faced to the left (dexter) with an Arabic shield in the centre inscribed with the official flag and two wheat stalks symbolising fertility and life. Syria TV () is a Syrian television network owned and operated by the Qatari Fadaat Media network. It was launched in March 2018 in Istanbul, where its headquarters are currently located, as a pro-Syrian opposition network, during the Syrian revolution. It broadcasts a variety of programs and news shows in Arabic, covering society, politics, entertainment and culture. The National Coalition of Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces, commonly named the Syrian National Coalition (SNC), or the Syrian National Revolutionary Coalition (SNRC) was a political organization founded in Doha, Qatar, in November 2012 during the Syrian Civil War in an attempt to coalesce the various opposition movements to Bashar al-Assad's Ba'athist regime. Mohammed Abu Al-Khair Shukri
Mohammed Abu al-Khair Shukri (; born 30 April 1961) is a Syrian Islamic scholar, lawyer, and university professor who serves as the Minister of Awqaf in the Syrian transitional government since 29 March 2025. Early life and education Shukri was born in Damascus, Syria, in the historic Sarouja district. His father, Mohammed Lutfi Shukri, was a student of Islamic scholars Sheikh Badr al-Din al-Hasani and Sheikh Abu al-Khair al-Maydani. He completed his primary education at Muawiya School in Sarouja. He later attended Bassam Bakoura Preparatory School and Sami al-Droubi Secondary School, where he earned his high school diploma in 1979. Shukri pursued higher education in multiple disciplines. Mazhar Al-Wais
Mazhar Abd al-Rahman al-Wais (; born 1980) is a Syrian Islamic scholar and former militant leader who is the current minister of justice of Syria in the Syrian transitional government since March 2025. He had previously served as the head of the Sharia Authority in Eastern Syria and a member of the Shura Council of Mujahideen in the Eastern Region. Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani () is a Syrian politician who serves as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Syrian transitional government since 21 December 2024 following the fall of the Assad regime. Early life and education Al-Shaibani was born in 1987 to an Arab family belonging to the Banu Shayban tribe from the eastern countryside of al-Hasakah Governorate.
