Costel Câmpeanu
Costel Câmpeanu (born 14 May 1965 in Bacău) is a former Romanian football player and coach. Playing career Costel Câmpeanu was born on 14 May 1965 in Bacău and started to play football in the 1986–87 Divizia C season at Viitorul Gheorgheni. Afterwards he went to play for the team from his native town, SC Bacău where on 26 August 1987 he made his Divizia A debut in a 4–2 away loss in front of Argeș Pitești. After two years he went to play for Dinamo București where in his first season he helped the club win The Double, being used by coach Mircea Lucescu in 10 league games, as the team's first option for the goalkeeper position was Bogdan Stelea. In the 1991–92 season, Dinamo won another title but Câmpeanu played only one game in the league, having to leave after the first half of the season to play for Gloria Bistrița as he had a conflict with coach Florin Halagian. Bacău
Bacău ( ; , ; ; ) is the main city in Bacău County, Romania. With a population of 136,087 (as of 2021 census), Bacău is the 14th largest city in Romania. The city is situated in the historical region of Moldavia, at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains, and on the Bistrița River (which meets the Siret River about to the south of Bacău). Bogdan Gheorghe Stelea (; born 5 December 1967) is a former Romanian professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Having played professionally into his 40s, he played for all three major Liga I clubs in his country's capital, and also spent a vast part of his career in Spain, mainly with Salamanca, also Stelea played nearly 100 times for Romania, and represented the nation in three World Cups and two European Championships. Match Fixing In Romanian Football
The issue of match fixing in association football has been described, in 2013, by Chris Eaton, the former Head of Security of FIFA (the sport's world governing body), as a "crisis", while UEFA's president Michel Platini has said that if it continues, "football is dead". Zhang Jilong, president of the Asian Football Confederation, has stated that it is a "pandemic". The issue also affects a number of other sports across the world. In May 2011, world governing body FIFA announced an anti-match fixing plan, and in September 2012 FIFA President Sepp Blatter warned that match-fixing endangered "the integrity of the game". In September 2014, the Council of Europe also announced they would tackle the problem. Brescia Calcio, commonly referred to as Brescia (), is an Italian football club based in Brescia, Lombardy. 1995–96 Cupa României
The 1995–96 Cupa României was the 58th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Steaua București against Gloria Bistrița. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes into extra time. If the match is still tied, the result is decided by penalty kicks.
