Costa Verde-San Miguel Park
The Costa Verde Pan-American Complex (), formerly the Costa Verde – San Miguel Park (), is a sports venue located on the Costa Verde, in San Miguel District, Lima, Peru. It became the venue for the beach volleyball, BMX cycling, road cycling and speed skating competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games and for adaptive cycling at the Parapan American Games. It is currently managed by the Special Legacy Project. It is a partially accessible space with paths, ramps, restrooms and accessible seating, serving both athletes and spectators. The capacity of the venues is as follows: BMX circuit (3,000 spectators), main beach volleyball stadium (3,000 spectators), speed skating rink (1,000 spectators) and freestyle BMX track (2,500 spectators). San Miguel District, Lima
San Miguel is one of the 43 districts that are part of the Lima province and of the urban area of Lima, Peru. It is bordered by the districts of Bellavista and downtown Lima on the north; Pueblo Libre, Magdalena del Mar and downtown Lima on the east; the Pacific Ocean on the south; and the La Perla district on the west. The 2019 Parapan American Games (), officially the VI Pan American Games and commonly known as the Lima 2019 ParaPan-Am Games, were an international multi-sport event for athletes with disabilities, celebrated in the tradition of the Parapan American Games as governed by the Americas Paralympic Committee, which was held from August 23 to September 1, 2019 in Lima, Peru. The 2019 Pan American Games (), officially the XVIII Pan American Games () and commonly known as Lima 2019, were a multi-sport event governed by the Panam Sports Organization held in Lima, Peru from July 26 to August 11, 2019, with preliminary rounds in certain events having begun on July 24, 2019. Roller sports competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru were held at the Polideportivo 3 (artistic), and Pista de Patinaje (Roller speed skating, speed skating). The artistic competitions started on July 26 and finished on the 27th. Speed skating competitions took place on the 9th and 10th of August. Cycling At The 2019 Pan American Games
Cycle sport, Cycling competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru were held at five venues across Lima. The Circuito BMX held the BMX racing competitions, the Pista de skateboarding held the freestyle BMX events. Morro Solar staged the mountain biking competitions, and the Circuito San Miguel staged the road bicycle racing, road competitions. Finally the velodrome staged the track cycling competitions. The BMX competitions started on August 7 and finished on the 11th (the last of the games), while mountain biking started on the 28th of July.
