Cosenza Calcio 1914
Cosenza Calcio 1914 was a professional Italian football club based in Cosenza, Calabria. It starts in 1912 when was founded Società Sportiva Fortitudo (the year 1914 is a reference to the first historic match played by the club on 23 February 1914). The club was expelled from the professional leagues in 2003, only readmitted a year later in Serie D. In 2005 the club folded, ended its 91 years of history. From 2003 to 2007 A.S. Cosenza Calcio claimed as the successor, which was relocated from nearby town. Again 2007, Fortitudo Cosenza was relocated from Rende as the new successor, and renamed to Cosenza Calcio 1914 Srl in 2008. However, the spiritual successor folded again in 2011, which yet another new club Nuova Cosenza Calcio was refound using Article 52 of N.O.I.F. in 2011–12 Serie D. Stadio comunale San Vito "Gigi Marulla" is a multi-purpose stadium, in Cosenza, Italy. The stadium has a capacity of 24,209. It is currently used mostly for football matches and it is the home ground of Cosenza Calcio from 1914. Sting performed at the stadium during his Ten Summoner's Tales Tour on July 17, 1993. Mark Edusei (born 29 September 1976 in Kumasi) is a former Ghanaian football midfielder. Throughout his career Edusei moved around a lot, playing for clubs based in six countries. Rende Calcio 1968 S.r.l. is an Italian football club, based in Rende, Calabria, currently playing in Serie D, the fourth highest football division in Italy. History Rende Calcio The club was founded in 1968 with the name Sesso Rende and renamed as Rende Calcio. The club's first coach was the late Mario Portone, who afterward became the mayor of the Calabrian city, and won promotion to Serie C2 for their first time in 1978, and then even Serie C1 one year later. Lega Pro Seconda Divisione was the fourth highest football league in Italy, the lowest with a professional status.
