Corsica Libera
''Corsica Libera'' (, ) is a left-wing separatist political party active in Corsica. It was founded in Corte in February 2009 by members of three nationalist parties, '' Corsica Nazione'', ''Rinnovu'' and the Corsican Nationalist Alliance. U Rinnovu left Corsica Libera in 2012 and participated to local and regional elections on its own list. In 2017, U Rinnovu became Core in Fronte. The political party led by Paul-Félix Benedetti won 6 seats at the Corsican assembly elections of 2021. ''Corsica Libera'' advocates full independence for Corsica and it does not condemn the violent actions by groups such as the National Liberation Front of Corsica. The party distinguished itself with its symbolic occupation of Christian Clavier's Corsican residence. The party has one seat in the Corsican Assembly and a number of local councillors, including the mayor of the small village Granace. The party's candidate in the 2010 territorial elections, Jean-Guy Talamoni, won 9.36% of the vote a ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

National Liberation Front Of Corsica
The National Liberation Front of Corsica ( or ; , Abbreviation, abbreviated FLNC) is a name used by various Guerrilla warfare, guerrilla and paramilitary organizations that advocate an Independence, independent or Autonomy, autonomous state on the island of Corsica, separated from France. The original FLNC was founded on 5 May 1976 from a merger between two smaller armed groups: the Corsican Peasant Front for Liberation (Fronte Paesanu Corsu per Liberazione, FPCL), and Ghjustizia Paolina (Corsican for Pasquale Paoli, Paoline Justice). This organization persisted until 1990, when a 1988 ceasefire agreement caused the unstable organization to split into two organizations based around separate ideas. In 1999, various factions merged to form the FLNC-Union of Combatants (FLNC-Unione di i Cumbattenti, FLNC-UC), a larger organization and one of the FLNCs which still exist today. In the present day, there are four organizations still active with the FLNC name: The FLNC-UC, The FLNC-22 Oc ... The branch of social science that studies politics and government is referred to as political science. Politics may be used positively in the context of a "political solution" which is compromising and non-violent, or descriptively as "the art or science of government", but the word often also carries a negative connotation.. The concept has been defined in various ways, and different approaches have fundamentally differing views on whether it should be used extensively or in a limited way, empirically or normatively, and on whether conflict or co-operation is more essential to it. A variety of methods are deployed in politics, which include promoting one's own political views among people, negotiation with other political subjects, making laws, and exercising internal and external f ... Separatist Political Parties In France
Separatism is the advocacy of cultural, ethnic, tribal, religious, racial, regional, governmental, or gender separation from the larger group. As with secession, separatism conventionally refers to full political separation. Groups simply seeking greater autonomy are usually not considered separatists. Some discourse settings equate separatism with religious segregation, racial segregation, or sex segregation, while other discourse settings take the broader view that separation by choice may serve useful purposes and is not the same as government-enforced segregation. There is some academic debate about this definition, and in particular how it relates to secessionism, as has been discussed online. Separatist groups practice a form of identity politics, or political activity and theorizing founded in the shared experiences of the group's members. Such groups believe attempts at integration with dominant groups compromise their identity and ability to pursue greater self-determina ... 2015 French Regional Elections
Regional elections were held in France on 6 and 13 December 2015. At stake were the regional councils in metropolitan and overseas France including the Corsican Assembly and inaugural seats in the Assembly of French Guiana and Assembly of Martinique, all for a six-year term. The Departmental Council of Mayotte, which also exercises the powers of a region, was the only region not participating in this election, having already been renewed on 2 April 2015. There were 18 regional presidencies at stake, with 13 in mainland France and Corsica, as well as 5 overseas. Though they do not have legislative autonomy, these territorial collectivities manage sizable budgets. Moreover, regional elections are often taken as a mid-term opinion poll. These elections were the first to be held for the redrawn regions: the 27 regions of France were amalgamated into 18, this went into effect on 1 January 2016. The election saw a huge swing away from the centre-left Socialist Party, as well ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

In digital technology, 1 represents the "on" state in binary code, the foundation of computing. Philosophically, 1 symbolizes the ultimate reality or source of existence in various traditions. Corsica Nazione
Corsica Nazione () was an electoral group in the Corsican Assembly composed of Corsican nationalist parties. It was led by Jean-Guy Talamoni, who would later become president of the Corsican Assembly in 2015 under the Corsica Libera political party. The group supported the nationalist paramilitaries of the Corsican conflict, and many of the parties in the coalition were political wings of various armed factions. History Corsica Nazione formed in January 1992 through a turbulent alliance of five separatist parties: A Cuncolta Naziunalista, the political wing of the National Liberation Front of Corsica-Canal Historique, Accolta Naziunale Corsa (ANC), the political wing of Resistenza, I Verdi Corsi, a nationalist party focused on green politics in Corsica, Per u Paese, a small group, and the Unione di u Populu Corsu (UPC), one of the oldest Corsican nationalist parties. The group immediately struggled to maintain order. At the formation conference held on 8 January, represen ...
