The Cornerstone Television Network is a non-commercial Christian broadcast and satellite television network based in Wall, Pennsylvania, United States. Its founder was Russ Bixler. The network has 44 full-power and 57 low-power affiliate stations, 1 online affiliate station, and it is on the Glorystar satellite service. History In the late 1970s, Norma Bixler claimed to have received a vision from God while visiting the Christian Broadcasting Network's headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to launch a Christian television station in Pittsburgh. Though her husband Russ was wary of the numerous hurdles to overcome to launch a full-power television station, he eventually was convinced to share in his wife's dream and pursue the vision. WCZS-LD (channel 35) is a low-power television station in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, United States. The station is owned by Sonshine Family Television. History The station, which first signed on the air on August 29, 1986, was a longtime Cornerstone Television station previously licensed to Harrisburg. WCZS-LD (as W07DP-D) was sold to Sonshine Family Television in 2018. In 2020, the station changed its city of license to Chambersburg and obtained a construction permit to move its transmitter to Clarks Knob, near its new city of license. The station signed on UHF analog channel 40 on August 29, 1986, as W40AF; and then began broadcasting on channel 35 on December 8, 2003, as W35BT. The station's digital signal was inaugurated on VHF digital channel 7 on August 21, 2009, as W07DP-D; and moved to UHF digital channel 30 in 2020 as WCZS-LD. KSCE (channel 38) is a religious independent television station in El Paso, Texas, United States, owned by Channel 38 Christian Television. The station's studios are located on Wyoming Avenue (northwest of I-10) in central El Paso, and its transmitter is located atop the Franklin Mountains on the El Paso city limits. History The station first signed on the air on April 15, 1989, operating on a non-commercial license. The call letters initially stood for "Saint Clements Episcopal", as the station was originally intended to be an outreach by Saint Clements Episcopal School in downtown El Paso. However, the school lost interest in television broadcasting and the station's controlling board of directors appointed Grace Rendall, a former director at KCIK-TV (channel 14, now KFOX-TV) as the station's manager before KSCE went on the air. It is owned by the estate of Belarmino "Blackie" Gonzalez and his non-profit ministry, Son Broadcasting. Alamogordo () is a city in and the county seat of Otero County, New Mexico, United States.
