Christian Cormack
Christian Cormack (born 1 September 1976 in Hammersmith, London) is a British rowing cox. He competed for the British National Team between 1996 and 2004, winning four medals at the World Rowing Championships including a gold in 2002, two silvers and a bronze medal. In the World Rowing Cup series he won gold in 2001 Munich, silver in 1997 Munich, 1998 Hazewinkel and bronze at 1998 Lucerne and 1999 Lucerne. He retired from rowing after competing at 2004 Athens Olympics. Cormack also coxed the winning Cambridge eight in the Boat Race in 2001. His crews won the Prince Philip Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta in 2003, and won the Head of the River Race five times – in 1999 and 2000 for Queen's Tower, and 2002, 2003 and 2005 for Leander Club. Teresa Cormack
Teresa Maida Cormack (18 June 1981 – 19 June 1987) was a six-year-old murder victim from Napier, New Zealand. After fifteen years, advances in genetic analysis led to conviction of Jules Mikus (28 September 1958 – 6 December 2019) for the crime. He had been identified as a potential suspect early in the investigation, but had offered an alibi that was accepted at the time. Murder Teresa lived in Napier, New Zealand, with her mother, Kelly Piggot, and her younger sister Sara. On Friday, 19 June 1987, the day after her sixth birthday, Cormack departed home on her normal walking route to Richmond Primary School, which was a short distance from where she lived. Mary Jane Everett Cormack (1862 – 1919) was an Irish-British painter and mezzotint engraver. Early life Mary Jane Maria Lee Everett was born in 1862 in Skibbereen, Ireland. She lived in London, Dorking, Selsey and Salcombe in the south of England. She married noted illustrator Charles J. Praetorius, son of photographer Charles B. Praetorius. Sir Magnus Cameron Cormack Order of the British Empire, KBE (12 February 1906 – 26 November 1994) was an Australian politician. Arthur Cormack (Scottish Gaelic: Art MacCarmaig; born 21 April 1965) is a Scottish Gaelic singer and musician from Portree, Isle of Skye and was educated at Portree High School. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of Fèisean nan Gàidheal. Music Cormack started competing in Gaelic singing competitions when he was 8 and competing at Mòds when he was 11. Peter Cormack
Peter Barr Cormack (17 July 1946 – 10 October 2024) was a Scottish professional football player and manager. His greatest success was with Liverpool in the early 1970s, for whom he played 178 times, winning two league championships, one FA Cup and two UEFA Cup medals. Cormack also played for Hibernian, Toronto City, Nottingham Forest, Bristol City and Partick Thistle. He collected nine full caps for the Scotland national football team, and was a member of the Scotland squad at the 1974 FIFA World Cup that went undefeated but did not advance out of the group stage of the tournament. John Cormack
John Cormack (born 1964) is an Irish retired hurler. His league and championship career with the Tipperary senior team lasted the 1988-89 season. Born in Loughmore, County Tipperary, Cormack came to prominence as a hurler and Gaelic footballer with Templemore CBS. He first appeared for the Loughmore–Castleiney club at juvenile and underage levels, before eventually joining the club's senior teams as a dual player. During a successful club career, Cormack won three county championship medals in both codes. Cormack made his debut on the inter-county scene when he was selected for the Tipperary minor team in 1981. He enjoyed two championship seasons with the minor team, culminating with the winning of an All-Ireland medal in 1982. He subsequently joined the under-21 team, winning an All-Ireland medals in 1985. Joe Cormack
Joe Cormack (born 30 August 1966) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles and Fitzroy in the Victorian/Australia Football League (VFL/AFL). West Coast recruited Cormack from Swan Districts, where he had played since 1986. He spent two seasons with the West Coast Eagles but was unable to cement his spot in the team and was traded to Fitzroy, for Dale Kickett.
