Corinne Schroeder
Corinne Schroeder (born August 17, 1999) is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender, currently playing in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) with PWHL New York. Playing career In the 2013–14 season, Schroeder played with the Pembina Valley Hawks 19U AAA of the Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League (MFMHL) and Tier 1 Elite Hockey League (T1EHL). In grade 11, she began attending Balmoral Hall School in Winnipeg, where she joined the BH Blazers varsity prep hockey team competing in the Junior Women's Hockey League (JWHL). At Balmoral Hall, Schroeder played alongside future Zhenskaya Hockey League, ZhHL champion Ryleigh Houston, future Swedish Women's Hockey League, SDHL players Morgan Wabick and Taylor Wabick, and future PHFer Kaity Howarth. Boston Pride
The Boston Pride are a professional women's ice hockey team based in Boston, Massachusetts. They are one of the four charter franchises of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF), formerly the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL; 2015–2021). The Pride play at Warrior Ice Arena, which is also the practice facility for the Boston Bruins of the NHL. Goals Against Average
Goals against average (GAA) also known as "average goals against" or "AGA" is a statistic used in field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and water polo that is the mean of goals allowed per game by a goaltender or goalkeeper (depending on sport). GAA is analogous to a baseball pitcher's earned run average (ERA). In Japanese, the same translation (防御率) is used for both GAA and ERA, because of this. For ice hockey, the goals against average statistic is the number of goals a goaltender allows per 60 minutes of playing time. It is calculated by taking the number of goals against, multiply that by 60 (minutes) and then dividing by the number of minutes played. Save percentage (often known by such symbols as SV%, SVS%, SVP, PCT) is a statistic in various goal-scoring sports that track saves as a statistic. In ice hockey and lacrosse, it is a statistic that represents the percentage of shots on goal a goaltender stops. It is calculated by dividing the number of saves by the total number of shots on goal. Although the statistic is called a "percentage", it is often given as a decimal, in the same way as a batting average in baseball. 2020–21 Boston University Terriers Women's Ice Hockey Season
The Boston University Terriers women's ice hockey program represented Boston University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. Hockey East announced plans in November for a modified season, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Teams played 18 games in a round robin format to determine the regular season champion.
