Corey Daniel LaJoie (born September 25, 1991) is an American professional stock car racing driver and analyst for ''NASCAR on Prime Video''. He currently competes part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 01 Ford Mustang (seventh generation), Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Rick Ware Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 07 Chevrolet Silverado#Fourth-generation Silverado / fifth-generation Sierra (GMT T1XX; 2019), Chevrolet Silverado RST for Spire Motorsports. LaJoie is the son of two-time NASCAR Busch Series champion Randy LaJoie. He was formerly a development driver for Richard Petty Motorsports and JGL Racing. Watkins Glen International, nicknamed "The Glen", is an automobile race track in the Northeastern United States, northeastern United States, located in Dix, New York, just southwest of the village of Watkins Glen, New York, Watkins Glen, at the southern tip of Seneca Lake (New York), Seneca Lake. The 2023 General Tire 100 at The Glen was the 13th stock car race of the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season, and the 3rd iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, August 18, 2023, in Watkins Glen, New York at Watkins Glen International, a 2.454 mile (3.949 km) permanent road course. The race was scheduled to be contested over 41 laps, but was extended to 42 laps due to a NASCAR overtime finish. In a wild one-lap overtime restart, Jesse Love, driving for Venturini Motorsports, would make a bump-and-run move on Connor Zilisch in the final turn, and held him off to earn his 10th career ARCA Menards Series win, his eighth of the season, and his fourth in a row. The 2023 ARCA Menards Series was the 71st season of the ARCA Menards Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began at Daytona International Speedway with the BRANDT 200 on February 18 and ended with the ARCA races at Toledo, Shore Lunch 200 at Toledo Speedway on October 7. Nick Sanchez, the 2022 series champion, did not return to run full-time in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023 and defend his title as he moved up to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series full-time driving for Rev Racing, the same team he won the ARCA championship with in 2022. Rockingham Speedway and Entertainment Complex (formerly known as North Carolina Speedway from 1998 to 2007 and North Carolina Motor Speedway from 1965 to 1996) is a D-shaped oval track in Rockingham, North Carolina, United States. The track has held a variety of events since its opening in 1965, including the NASCAR Cup Series from 1965 to 2004, and currently the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The ARCA Menards Series East has held several races at Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, North Carolina over the years. Charlie Glotzbach won the inaugural event in 1973. In 2024, it was announced that the ARCA Menards Series East would return as a support race of the NASCAR Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series races. History During the inaugural race, Charlie Glotzbach led 285 laps out of 295 to win ahead of Charlie Blanton, who was two laps down. Before the race, only 13 cars were able to qualify before rain moved into the area, causing the remainder of the grid lined up according to sign-in time at the track. 2009 ARCA Re/Max Series
The 2009 ARCA Re/MAX Series was the 57th season of the ARCA Racing Series. The season began on February 7 with the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 and ended on October 11 with the Rockingham ARCA 200. Justin Lofton of Eddie Sharp Racing won the season championship. This season's championship result was the closest in ARCA history, as Lofton won the title over Kligerman by a mere five points. Although Kligerman won an astounding nine races that season, Lofton (who won six races) was able to barely beat him, mainly on the strength of earning bonus points for winning poles. The 2024 Fresh From Florida 250 was the 1st stock car race of the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and the 25th iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida, a permanent tri-oval shaped asphalt superspeedway. The race was originally scheduled to be contested over 100 laps, but was extended to 101 laps due to a NASCAR overtime finish. In a wild race that saw several crashes, Nick Sanchez, driving for Rev Racing, would win his first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race when a multi-truck accident occurred on the final lap with him in the lead when the caution was thrown. Kentucky Speedway
Kentucky Speedway is an inactive tri-oval intermediate speedway in Sparta, Kentucky. It has hosted various major races throughout its existence, including NASCAR and IndyCar races. The track is owned by Speedway Motorsports, LLC (SMI) and is currently used as a storage and parking lot for various companies. The speedway has a grandstand capacity of 66,000 as of 2020. In the 1990s, then- Turfway Park owner Jerry Carroll sought to seek new profitable ventures after Turfway Park's decline, deciding to build a modern auto racing facility.
