Léonie Juliana, Baroness Cooreman (16 June 1928 – 4 September 2020), also known by her stage name Annie Cordy, was a Belgian actress and singer. She appeared in more than 50 films from 1954 and staged many memorable appearances at Bruno Coquatrix' famous Paris Olympia. Her version of ''" La Ballade de Davy Crockett"'' was number 1 in the charts for five weeks in France in August 1956. She was born in Laeken, Belgium, where in 2004, King Albert II of Belgium bestowed upon her the title of Baroness in recognition for her life's achievements. James Reginald Cordy (born January 2, 1950) is a Canadian computer scientist and educator who is Professor Emeritus in the School of Computing at Queen's University. As a researcher he is most recently active in the fields of source code analysis and manipulation, software reverse and re-engineering, and pattern analysis and machine intelligence. He has a long record of previous work in programming languages, compiler technology, and software architecture. Zaine Cordy (born 27 October 1996) is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL), having initially been recruited as a father–son pick by the Western Bulldogs with the 62nd draft pick in the 2014 AFL draft. Ross Cordy
Dr. Ross H. Cordy was the branch chief of archaeology in the State of Hawaii's Historic Preservation Division, having headed that office and program for 16 years. He is currently the Humanities Division chair at the University of Hawaii-West Oahu where he teaches Hawaiian and Pacific Islands studies courses and a few archeology courses. Cordy is a volunteer archeology instructor for the Waianae High School - Hawaiian Studies Program, where he teaches hands-on archeology, history and historic preservation issues. He has conducted research on Hawaiian archaeological and historical topics since 1968. Neil Cordy (born 8 April 1959) is a former Australian rules footballer and now television presenter. Football career Cordy was recruited from Traralgon, Victoria. He made his AFL debut with the Footscray Football Club in 1979, and went on to play 139 games and kick 28 goals with the club until 1986, mainly playing as a winger. He moved to the Sydney Swans in 1987, playing more of a defensive role, going on to play 96 games and kick 3 goals until 1993, when he retired. Media career In 1996, Cordy became a sports reporter for Network Ten in Melbourne, and appeared in the documentary ''Year of the Dogs'' in this capacity. Ayce Cordy (born 6 August 1990) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played with the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). The Bulldogs used their first-round selection, 14th overall, to secure Cordy after bid their first-round selection (pick 13) for him. Cordy's father, Brian, played 124 games for the Bulldogs in the 1980s. His brother, Zaine, currently plays for the Saints. Brian Cordy (born 14 January 1961) is a former Australian rules footballer who played in the Victorian Football League (VFL) between 1981 and 1988 for the Footscray Football Club.
