Cordula (film)
''Cordula'' is a 1950 Austrian drama film directed by Gustav Ucicky and starring Paula Wessely, Attila Hörbiger and Jane Tilden.Fritsche, Maria. ''Homemade Men in Postwar Austrian Cinema: Nationhood, Genre and Masculinity''. Berghahn Books, 2013. p. 238. It is based on a 1925 poem by Anton Wildgans about a woman in a small town who falls pregnant to a local forester serving in the Austrian Army during the First World War. The film was the made by Wessely's independent production company, and was the sixth time she had appeared in a film directed by Usicky. It was partly shot on location in the vicinity of Vorau in Styria, using locals as extras. Styria

Karl Ehmann (13 August 1882 – 1 November 1967) was an Austrian stage and film actor whose career spanned both the silent and sound eras of the film industry. Career Born on 13 August 1882 in Vienna, Austria-Hungary, he became interested in acting as a young man, studying in a private master class with the famous Austrian stage actor, Karl Arnau. He made his stage debut at the age of 20 in the municipal theater of Olomouc, Moravia (now part of the Czech Republic). Over the next five years he would appear in productions in Meran, South Tyrol, Linz, Upper Austria, and Graz, Austria. Alma Seidler
Alma Seidler (1 June 1899 – 8 December 1977) was an Austrian actress. She was member of the Burgtheater for over 50 years. Biography Alma Seidler was born in Leoben, the daughter of Ernst Seidler von Feuchtenegg. The later Burgtheater director Albert Heine was her teacher and sponsor. From 1918 to 1977, she was actress at the Burgtheater and made her debut in Ibsen's ''Wildente'' in 1919. Since 1960, she was honorary member of the Burgtheater. She also performed at the Salzburg Festival. Seidler was married to the Burgtheater actor and director , with whom she had a son. She died in Vienna on 8 December 1977 and is buried in a grave of honor at the Vienna Central Cemetery.
