''Cora yukiboa'' is a species of basidiolichen in the family Hygrophoraceae. Robert Lücking
Robert Lücking (born 1964) is a German lichenologist, known for his extensive research on foliicolous lichens (lichens that live on leaves) and his significant contributions to the taxonomy, ecology, and biodiversity of fungi and lichens. He earned his master's and PhD from the University of Ulm, focusing on foliicolous lichens. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Mason E. El Yunque National Forest
El Yunque National Forest (), formerly known as the Caribbean National Forest (or ''Bosque Nacional del Caribe''), is a forest located in northeastern Puerto Rico. While there are both temperate and tropical rainforests in other states and territories, it is the only tropical rainforest in the United States National Forest System and the United States Forest Service. Epiphyte
An epiphyte is a plant or plant-like organism that grows on the surface of another plant and derives its moisture and nutrients from the air, rain, water (in marine environments) or from debris accumulating around it. The plants on which epiphytes grow are called phorophytes. Epiphytes take part in nutrient cycles and add to both the diversity and biomass of the ecosystem in which they occur, like any other organism. Daguao, Ceiba, Puerto Rico
Daguao is a barrio in the municipality of Ceiba, Puerto Rico. Its population in 2010 was 235. History Daguao was in Spain's gazetteers until Puerto Rico was ceded by Spain in the aftermath of the Spanish–American War under the terms of the Treaty of Paris of 1898 and became an unincorporated territory of the United States. In 1899, the United States Department of War conducted a census of Puerto Rico finding that the combined population of Daguao and Río Abajo barrios (counted with Fajardo) was 1,099. The old Roosevelt Roads Naval Base is near Daguao, and 40% of the land in Daguao has been designated as conservation land. This extensive protected natural area is home to ecosystems such as wetlands, estuaries, mangrove forests, coral systems, marine habitats, riverbanks and dry forests.
