Copa Castilla Y León
The Copa de Castilla y León (Castile and León Cup) is a basketball competition between the best teams of Castile and León, organized by the Castile and León Basketball Federation. From 2002 to 2005, the different teams where facing them every round and the final was played always against CB Valladolid, the only team in ACB in that years. Champions History Results 2002 After a try in 2001 with the teams of Liga EBA, the Castile and León Federation decided to improve the tournament including in it all the elite clubs of the autonomous community. The first round was played in a one legged round-robin format by all the Liga EBA teams. 2003–04 The second edition had a similar format but changing the first round. Palencia Baloncesto, officially named as Super Agropal Palencia, is a Spanish professional basketball team based in Palencia, Castile and León. The team currently plays in league Primera FEB. History The club was founded in 1979 at Colegio Marista of Palencia, with the aim to support farm teams competing at provincial and regional tournaments. The professional basketball team was created on 1997 and played during five years at Liga EBA before being invited to join the LEB Plata. The Tercera FEB, formerly known as Liga EBA (''Liga Española de Baloncesto Aficionado''), is a Spanish basketball championship that is the fourth tier level in the Spanish basketball league system, after the Liga ACB, Primera FEB and Segunda FEB. It is administered by the Spanish Basketball Federation, FEB. It was previously the Spanish second tier level competition from 1994 to 1996, the third tier level from 1996 to 2000, and the fifth tier level, from 2007 to 2009. Early life Coppenrath went to high school at St. Johnsbury Academy where he did not play for the varsity basketball team until his junior year.
