Conway Pretorius
Conway Pretorius (born 4 July 1992 in Pretoria, South Africa) is a South African rugby union player for in the Currie Cup and in the Rugby Challenge. His regular position is number eight. Career Youth Pretorius was born in Pretoria, but grew up in Strand in the Western Cape. After high school, he joined the Harmony Sports Academy in Virginia, where he also got involved with the side, playing in all their matches during the 2011 Under-19 Provincial Championship Division B competition and helped the Griffons win the title by beating the team in the final in Wellington. He also played in the promotion/relegation match against the , but the Griffons lost the match and remained in Division B. In 2013, he moved back to the Western Cape to join the . He was again an ever-present in the side that finished second on the 2013 Under-21 Provincial Championship log and lost in the final to the side in Nelspruit. The Vodacom Cup was an annual rugby union competition in South Africa. Annual Vodacom Cup competitions were played between its inaugural season in 1998 and 2015 and was contested between February and May each year. The Vodacom Cup was the successor of the Bankfin Nite Series which was played in 1996 and 1997. Mobile communications provider Vodacom was the title sponsor for the entire duration of the competition. The competition was the third most prestigious in South African rugby, behind Super Rugby and the Currie Cup. It was contested at roughly the same time as Super Rugby each season from February to June and featured a combination of Super Rugby players returning from injury, reserve players attempting to maintain their fitness levels and younger players trying to break through to the Super Rugby or Currie Cup sides. Serie A is the second tier of the Italian Rugby Union championship. Until the creation of the Super 10 (now Top12) in a 2002 restructuring exercise, it was the top tier.
